My foray into art

I’ve been branching far and wide in my creative explorations – trying watercolour and gouache, using my camera again, writing poetry, and making digital art via Procreate. The thing that clashes about art and me is that art requires play and starting from scratch and being a bit crap, and I like to do things well. Art is a great teacher of patience and failing and trying, again and again. I don’t like that art is like this as I’d rather just casually create masterpieces while eating my breakfast and reading a book at the same time, but it is also rather humbling and a more realistic reflection of how life really works. Here are a couple of digital pieces I’ve been working on.
